Dunk Them Donuts is the largest employer in the Realm of Bricklyn, with some 800 employees as of January 1, 2026 (up from 750 employees one year earlier).

Started in 1939 by the Broffman family with a single donut shop located in downtown Bricklyn Junction, the privately held company is now headed by CEO David Tiler Broffman, who took the helm in 1998.

Dunk Them Donuts also owns and operates 15 donut shops throughout the Tripartite Realm, and franchises more than 90 donut shops in 20 other Inland cities that are members of the League of Inland Cities.

➤2025-2026: Dunk Them Donuts has started to experiment with shortening its name to Dunk Them. According to Marcie B. Masterson, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer: “While we love and value our longstanding name, “Dunk Them Donuts,” we are increasing our sale of biscotti, rusks, and other very dunk-able creations we’re trying out. As a result, during 2025-2026 we will be testing the use of the name “Dunk Them” to see how our customers respond.

➤ 2023-2024: Dunk Them Donuts filed with the Realm of Bricklyn Planning Department an application to build a high-rise, mixed-use, revolving donut-topped restaurant tower in downtown Bricklyn Junction.

The application was withdrawn after an agreement was reached between the Realm of Bricklyn and Dunk Them Donuts for the company to instead rehabilitate the historic former Hotel Stansbury in downtown Bricklyn Junction.

➤ 2023: Dunk Them Donuts led a coalition of groups in defeating the effort led by Pastor Johnny Kahn and his cultic followers to ban the consumption, manufacture, and distribution of donuts in Bricklyn.

➤ 2023: Dunk Them Donuts, through CEO Broffman, was a major donor to the Bricklyn Arboretum, which opened in June of that year.

➤ 2021: Dunk Them Donuts acquired ownership of Drury Bricks, the largest fabricator of brick in the Realm of Bricklyn,

➤ 2020: In a surprise move, Dunk Them Dunks obtained a controlling interest in Brick Air, vowing to have the airline company develop the “next generation” of very high speed passenger aviation services.

➤ 2019: Dunk Them Donuts CEO Broffman worked behind the scenes with the Bricklyn Chamber of Commerce in the successful campaign to have the Simpsons family and friends move from Springfield to Bricklyn, VT — including previous unknown twins and triplets of quite a few Simpson family members!
