Bricklyn, Vermont, has a remarkably stable climate, with no annual precipitation, and constant year-round temperature range of 60-65 degrees F. There have been no reports of flooding or sea-level rise in Bricklyn Bay.

While climate change, at this time, does not seem to directly affect Bricklyn, we should note that as Bricklynites are made up of are made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), a petroleum-based substance. Its use can -- at least to some extent -- increase global warming in the Outland world where LEGO bricks (the basic "DNA" of all LEGO creatures) are manufactured.

As we noted in a response to another question, LEGO, the company, is taking steps to reduce the use of petroleum-based plastics in producing LEGO bricks by gradually starting to change over to a bio-sourced, sugarcane-based polyethylene.
